North Central (SFZ)
Meeting Notice: The Public Information Meeting for the North Central State Airport Master Plan was held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 7 pm at the CCRI – Flanagan Campus lecture hall, room 2706.
Copies of the Draft Airport Master Plan will be available for review after December 23 in the Smithfield and Lincoln Town Halls; the Airport Terminal Building; and in the document links below. Click here to view the Master Plan public meeting presentation.

North Central State Airport is located in Smithfield, close to several business/industrial parks, and serves corporate and recreational users within the Providence metropolitan area, while relieving general aviation activity from T. F. Green Airport.

An updated Master Plan is underway at North Central in an effort to update the 2001 Airport Master Plan. The Plan is a helpful tool in planning for the future of the airport. The Airport Advisory Committee, to be comprised of local officials, business owners and community members will work to ensure that the existing airport runway and taxiway dimensions are compatible with the latest FAA airport design standards. In addition, the activity forecasts will be updated.
