T.F. GREEN REMINDS TRAVELERS TO CHECK FLIGHT STATUS FOR CONSOLIDATION/CANCELLATIONS

Lot “D” Now Open for All Long-Term Parking

“To Go” Options for Meals and Concessions Available to Travelers

Warwick, RI – March 24, 2020 – The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) is reminding all T.F. Green Airport travelers to check their airline websites/apps frequently as reductions in passenger flight loads are resulting in consolidation and/or cancellations of certain routes, requiring that travelers work with airlines and other transportation services to reach their destinations.  Comprehensive information on inbound and outbound T.F. Green flights, updates on public and private ground transport as well as a compendium of COVID-19 travel related information can now be found on a dedicated page on the PVDAirport.com website at https://www.pvdairport.com/corporate/airport-information/covid-19-travel-information.

Updated T.F. Green Airport arrival and departure information for all airlines is also available on the PVD Airport app https://www.pvdairport.com/terminal/pvd-airport-app. Other changes at T.F. Green Airport to improve efficiency and maintain convenient services for travelers get include consolidations for long-term parking as well as airport restaurant and amenities.

Starting Tuesday, March 24, 2020 all Long-Term “Lot E” parkers will be directed to use Short Term “Lot-D” adjacent to the T.F. Green Airport main entrance. Long-term discount pricing available for Lot E will still apply to parking in Lot D.  Lot D will also continue to serve as Short-Term Parking.

Beginning March 24, 2020 Plymouth & Brockton bus lines are suspending transportation services until further notice.

Although passenger volume has dropped significantly as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, and Governor Raimondo’s Executive Order 20-04 has required the closure of sit down restaurants and food court seating, RIAC has worked with our airport partners to ensure that travelers maintain access to “meals to go” and other concession options for food, beverages and other travel amenities.

Restaurants and concessions that remain open to serve T.F. Green Airport travelers currently include the following “to go” restaurants and concessions in the food court, and terminal concourses:

Dunkin’ Donuts
Starbucks
Budweiser Bowtie
