Local officials and public welcome to attend virtual meetings on project
updates for state GA airports
WARWICK, RI – May 11, 2022 – The Rhode Island Airport
Corporation (RIAC) will hold the next virtual public meeting for Rhode Island’s
General Aviation (GA) airport communities on Thursday, May 26 at 5:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held via Zoom. A
link for the meeting can be found on the Rhode Island Secretary of State’s website and at https://www.pvdairport.com on the day of the meeting.
The
virtual briefing affords RIAC with the opportunity to provide development updates
on state airports, including those hosting or abutting Rhode Island’s five GA
airports: Block Island, Newport, North Central, Quonset and Westerly State
Airports. The meetings, held every other month, will also provide an
opportunity for the public, as well as local officials, to engage with RIAC
regarding state airports in their community. Individuals who wish to suggest agenda items
for the meeting can email recommended topics at GAStrategicBusinessPlan@pvdairport.com.
